_Experience the authentic sights, sounds, and tastes of Brazil from the producers who brought you Brasil Fest AZ 2011 at the MIM.  Last Year Carnaval AZ took over the historic Wrigley Mansion with over 800 patrons taking part in this epic celebration of music, dance, community & culture.  This year we've decided to take the party to Old Town Scottsdale's best live music venue, Martini Ranch, to bring an even bigger production of sound, light & taste.  Starting at 8pm on Friday February 24th, you will understand first-hand why Carnaval AZ is known as the biggest celebration of Brazilian art & culture in Arizona. 

_Premiere performance ensembles from Phoenix and Flagstaff will join forces to bring you an action-packed evening of non-stop Brazilian music & dance.  Witness sequined samba dancers, capoeira, folkloric dancers, live art & multi-media visual displays as you groove to the ground shaking rhythms of Brazilian batucada, bands, DJs and more.

Just added to the Carnaval AZ 2012 Line Up!! Samba Dance class from 8:30 -9:00 pm in the Shaker Room - All levels welcome - So come early to catch the Capoeira Roda and brush up on your Samba Skills! Be prepared for the Samba Dance Contest and win!!!
