The 4th Annual Carnaval AZ Returns!

_Experience the authentic sights, sounds, and tastes of Brazil from the producers who brought you Brasil Fest AZ 2011 at the MIM.  In years past Carnaval AZ has taken over the historic Wrigley Mansion as well as Scottsdale's best live music venue, with over 800 patrons taking part in this epic celebration of music, dance, community & culture.  This year we've decided to take the party to downtown Phoenix's best new venue, Monarch Theatre, to bring an even bigger production of sound, light & taste.  Starting at 8pm on Saturday, March 23rd, you will understand first-hand why Carnaval AZ is known as the biggest celebration of Brazilian art & culture in Arizona. 

_Premiere performance ensembles from around the Valley will join forces to bring you an action-packed evening of non-stop Brazilian music & dance.  Witness sequined samba dancers, capoeira, folkloric dancers, live art & multi-media visual displays as you groove to the ground shaking rhythms of Brazilian batucada, bands, DJs and more.
